Will Underworld 5 Take Down Rogue One at the Box Office?

Image
Long before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hit theaters last month, most box office analysts predicted that it would have no trouble winning the last three weeks in a row of 2016, with its reign possibly stretching into 2017 as well. Entering its fourth weekend in theaters, it will go up against Sony's Underworld: Blood Wars as the only new movie in wide release, with limited release titles A Monster Calls and Hidden Figures also expanding nationwide. Even with this new competition, we're predicting that Rogue One will still find a way to end up on top of the box office heap this weekend. Even with this influx of new competition, following a weekend where no new movies debuted in wide release, none of these new compe

Usain Bolt is basically the fastest human on the planet. Winning nine gold medals over three Olympic competitions, his accomplishments include holding the 100 meters and 200 meters world records, as well as the world record for his part in the 4 x 100 meters relay. However, in the DC Comics universe, he's outpaced by a few notable individuals, namely the defender of Central City: The Flash. Speaking of the Scarlet Speedster, he has a solo movie coming up soon, and Bolt would love to be a part of that. While being interviewed by MTV International about the documentary centered on him, I Am Bolt , Usain Bolt was asked if he would ever want to appear in a superhero movie. This was his response: ""Yeah, that would be pretty cool, to maybe do a cameo in The Flash , or something. ... Let me talk to some people. [Laughs] Of all the cameos that The Flash could possibly throw in, this is the one we're hoping they try the hardest to make happen. Think

North American Box Office Hits Record $11.4 Billion

The North American box office closed out the year with $11.4 billion in ticket sales, ComScore said Sunday. That marks a new record for the industry, bypassing the previous high-water mark of $11.1 billion that was established in 2015.
